My family has *almost* always homeschooled! My oldest, Zeke is a speller. Zeke and I began our spellers journey in July 2023. Zeke is an "unreliable speaker", diagnosed with speech apraxia at a young age, and then later on with autism, and now other neurological disorders. He does have some reliable speech, but as we've gone down this path with spelling, we've realized just how much of that seemingly reliable speech may not actually be.
I've been teaching in the homeschool co-op/hybrid program world for 15 years! My true passion and heart is for students with learning differences and unique needs. I can't wait to go on this journey with you. Let's dare to homeschool our spellers, together.
